A little about me
Natural Connection Counseling came about after years of connecting with the natural world and seeing the profound effects it had on my own mental health. This convinced me to obtain master’s degrees in Applied Ecopsychology and Transpersonal Counseling Psychology. Through my studies I learned that if we connect not only with the outdoors, but also with the signals our body’s sensations are trying to tell us, we have a natural guide to wellness and wholeness right at our fingertips.
I intentionally keep a small caseload of clients so that they can feel the personalized attention they deserve. It also allows me to show up present to my clients because I am less likely to be overwhelmed by the number of clients on my caseload. Additionally, it allows me space to live in balance while caring for my family too. For my clients, it allows for ease in scheduling with my reliable availability and timely communication.
I bring over twenty five years of experience working with children and adults to my private practice, first as a classroom teacher and nature educator, and then as a licensed psychotherapist. My passion is helping people find their own wholeness in order to thrive in this world. I love the work I do with my clients as I accompany them on their journey of self discovery.
