Meet Psychotherapist and Licensed Professional Counselor

A little about me

Natural Connection Counseling came about after years of connecting with the natural world and seeing the profound effects it had on my own mental health. This convinced me to obtain master’s degrees in Applied Ecopsychology and Transpersonal Counseling Psychology. Through my studies I learned that if we connect not only with the outdoors, but also with the signals our body’s sensations are trying to tell us, we have a natural guide to wellness and wholeness right at our fingertips.

I bring over twenty five years of experience working with children and adults to my private practice, first as a classroom teacher and nature educator, and then as a licensed psychotherapist.  My passion is helping people find their own wholeness in order to thrive in this world. When I am not working with my clients fulfilling this passion, I can be found spending time outdoors with my husband and two sons. While once we enjoyed this lifestyle in Colorado, we now call Omaha, Nebraska, our home and are enjoying finding new places in which we like to spend time in the outdoors of Nebraska.
